The organisation "World's Best Olive Oils" is a non-profit entity which compiles data annually and scores olive oil harvests from around the world. This year Spain has secured 37 of the top 50 spots, with Andalucia comprising 31 of those, including the first 3 podium positions!

Benahavis Cultural Society is now starting its fifth season with a wide range of talks covering music, history, cinema, fashion, food and art. The next talk is on Tuesday 27th September The Life and Art of Salvador Dali

Salvador Dali is among the most prolific and versatile artists of the 20th century. Famous for his bizarre surreal paintings, his style was intended as a way of tapping into the unconscious and of picturing dreams and hallucinations. Along with his wife and long-life muse Gala, he was renowned for his flamboyant personality and eccentric exploits as much as for his technical virtuosity.

The rain in Spain falls mainly outside Costa del Sol 

A cold front sweeping Spain has ended the record-breaking run which saw temperatures in Sevilla reach 50 degrees. The countrys national weather agency Aemet has warned of thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, high seas and strong winds for most of the country, however Andalucia has simply seen a drop of temperatures to comfortable levels.
